Margaret Guzowski
Welcome, thank you for visiting my website, I am here to help. I am a competent psychotherapist with 25y experience. I provide high quality psychotherapy; either short-term focused on specific goals or long-term support, which is effective and guaranteed, when the client is ready to change their life. My education is in Life Sciences and Psychotherapy. I am also certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher. Since 1998, I have worked in GTA as a therapist in psychiatry, children centers, hospitals, and family therapy clinics. I became a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) in 2017.
Presently I work in private practice in Mississauga and West Toronto; I offer online sessions as well as by phone and email. I also regularly supervise clinical university students, including fields of medicine, psychology, and child studies. I am also a CRPO-qualified supervisor for therapists at the College, and professionals in related fields of study. I want to invite you to explore the services I offer that include psychotherapy for adults and children in individual, family, and couples (marriage therapy) sessions formats. I am 2SLGBTQI+ friendly and welcoming. I offer wide range of care including family transitions, parenting challenges, anxiety and depression, anger management and personal growth to name few. I am comfortable working with young children, teens, youth, adults as well as seniors and persons with special needs. Having Polish as my mother tongue is a great asset in reaching the Polish community.
I learn every day, I am interested in personal growth reaching one’s full potential, connecting with nature and creativity and being happy. I have studied meditation for the last 15 years, through yoga, mindfulness and Vipassana (original Buddhist meditation). I love young people and spending time with them as well as mature persons who inspire me.
